Spouse Visa in UAE:

If you hold a residence visa in the UAE, you have the opportunity to sponsor your immediate family members. Here are the eligibility criteria and guidelines for sponsoring different family members:

Muslim residents may be allowed to sponsor up to two wives, provided they meet the requirements set by the ICP.

An essential requirement is an attested marriage certificate in Arabic or a properly translated one by a qualified translator.

The processing time for a UAE spouse visa typically ranges from 15 to 60 days.

Children:

You can sponsor your daughter(s) if they are single, without any age limitations.
Sons can be sponsored up to the age of 25 if they are unmarried.

There are no age restrictions for children with special needs. To avoid fines, you must request a residency visa within 120 days of your child’s birth in the UAE.

Stepchildren can also be sponsored based on GDRFA’s requirements, including a deposit for each child and a no-objection letter from the biological parent. Their visas are valid for one year and require annual renewal.

Parents:

To sponsor your parents for a year’s stay, you need to make a deposit as required by the relevant immigration authority. Sponsoring only one parent is not permitted. Both parents must be jointly sponsored. You must demonstrate that you are their sole source of support and that they have no other caretaker at home.
In cases of a deceased parent or divorced parents, you will need documentation to support the need to sponsor only one parent.

Employed expatriate residents must obtain a medical insurance policy for each parent with the minimum required coverage, which must be renewed annually. Additionally, they must meet the minimum wage requirements to sponsor parents.

If your family is already in the UAE, apply for a change in status.
If your family is outside the UAE, apply for an entry permit or visit visa. Choose a suitable visa type (e.g., 60-day single-entry or multiple-entry) to allow time for the family visa application.

After your family arrives in the UAE, initiate the process by getting their medical fitness test at a government-approved health center.

Apply for the Emirates ID on the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) website or visit AMER typing centers or immigration departments.
Prepare required documents, fill out application forms, and pay fees.
