The UAE has a large population of expatriates, and its thriving economy attracts foreign investment and businesses due to its favorable tax policies and infrastructure.

In this guide, we will provide you with the necessary information to navigate the process of acquiring a tourist visa in the UAE.

Situated on the Arabian Peninsula and sharing borders with Oman and Saudi Arabia, the UAE is predominantly covered in desert, with the exception of its major city, Dubai. Known for its contemporary architecture, lively culture, and luxurious shopping, Dubai offers a haven amidst the pandemic.

In 2020, over 5.5 million tourists flocked to Dubai to enjoy the year-round sunshine and indulge in its opulent offerings. From extravagant hotels to a captivating blend of modern and traditional Arabic influences, along with world-class attractions, Dubai stands as a paradise for vacationers.

Experience the thrill of ascending the Burj Khalifa, venture through vast sand dunes on a camel, swim with dolphins, or simply relax on the picturesque golden beaches. With endless possibilities, the UAE is a dream destination for enthusiastic travelers.

Dubai is not just a popular vacation spot; it is also recognized as the world’s business hub, bridging economies from East to West. With its diverse economy, stable government, and access to vast populations across Asia, Africa, and Europe, Dubai presents an enticing location for businesses. Its zero-tax regime and certain jurisdictions allowing 100% company profit repatriation further contribute to its appeal.

While foreign ownership rules vary across the UAE’s different jurisdictions, specific sectors and business zones offer opportunities for complete foreign ownership. However, establishing a business outside these sectors entails meeting various conditions and dealing with extensive paperwork and coordination with Emirati authorities.

Fortunately, our process simplifies the journey, making us the preferred partner for entrepreneurs setting up businesses in the UAE. With a straightforward tourist visa application process, you can embark on your entrepreneurial venture with ease.

1. Visa on Arrival:

– Citizens of specific countries can obtain a visa on arrival, which is the simplest and most cost-effective option.
– The duration of the visa depends on the issuing country, and your passport must have at least six months of validity remaining.
– Eligible countries include Andorra, Australia, Brunei, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, and more.
– Some countries are eligible for a 30-day single-entry visa, while others can get a 90-day multiple-entry visa.

2. Prearranged Tourist Visas:

– If your country is not eligible for a visa on arrival, you need to apply for a prearranged tourist visa.
– Different options are available depending on the duration of your stay.
– Requirements include a passport with at least three months of validity, a copy of your passport, a photograph, an application form, and a copy of your plane ticket.
– Visa options include 48-hour, 96-hour, single-entry short-term, multiple-entry short-term, single-entry long-term (90 days), and multiple-entry long-term tourist visas.

3. One-Year Remote Working Visa:

– The UAE offers a remote working visa for digital nomads who want to work from the country.
– This visa is available to passport holders from all countries and allows remote work without the need for sponsorship or employment.
– However, it does not permit business establishment in the UAE.
– The application requires a passport with at least six months of validity, UAE health insurance, proof of employment or business ownership, a work contract or proof of business ownership, proof of income, and bank statements.
– The application fee for this visa is USD 287, and additional costs for health insurance and ID fees apply.

4. Investor and Entrepreneur Residency Visas (Golden Visa):

– The Golden Visa program is designed for expat investors and entrepreneurs who want to establish their business in the UAE.
– It offers 5- and 10-year visa options and allows travel to and from the UAE, as well as adding family members and executives to the visa.
– The application process is complex and requires meeting specific conditions.
– For detailed guidance on the Golden Visa program, it is recommended to contact the relevant authorities or seek assistance from professionals familiar with the process.

Once you have obtained the necessary visas and documents, the immigration process at Dubai airport is highly efficient and modern. Utilizing advanced technology and innovation, the process ensures a smooth arrival experience.

Upon arrival, instead of encountering border patrol officers, you will go through an electronic gate. These e-gates enable you to register your identity and present your passport and required documentation. Additionally, the e-gate will scan your retina for identification purposes.

While it is uncommon, there is a possibility of being selected for random screening. In such cases, you will need to provide evidence of your visa. It is important to note that if you do not possess a hard copy of your visa confirmation number, a fee of AED 30 may be charged.
